Our new "Bright As Day!"_ booklight lets you enjoy glare-free, wide-spectrum light anywhere! It's the best portable reading light for use in the dark without disturbing others _ at home as your partner sleeps or when flying and everyone else is watching a movie. The flicker-free fluorescent lamp illuminates the entire page of a book, without the glaring spotlight effect of cheaper LED booklights. Press the hinge and the silver arm pops up; the light turns on automatically. Choose from two settings: "Reading" is for general use and "Bright" is for detail work. The flexible stainless steel clip firmly holds the light to the back of any hard- or soft-cover book. Place it on any flat surface to use as a mini desk lamp, too. Measures 8 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and weighs just 8 oz. Folds closed for travel or storage in its own vinyl protective case.
