The imaginative design of this phone is so novel that it takes a few seconds, at first glance, to get to the inevitable, "Wow! That's a phone? I love it!" The Cordless "Cube" 2.4GHz Speakerphone is just 3 1/4-inches cubed and barely over 11 ounces _ perfect for countertop, desktop or bedside table. On top is the keypad and on the sides, a speaker and LCD screen. This full-featured phone has a 50 name/number phonebook (with auto dialing); 10-number redial; ring volume control; and (with service) Call ID with 40 entry memory. For private calls, you get a stereo headset with microphone. Added built-in capabilities include an FM radio with 10 presets and an MP3 player, too! (There is a USB jack, an included USB cable plus an SD card slot). Music or radio play pauses automatically when a call comes in. The cordless "Cube" runs on the included NiMH rechargeable AA battery. The small plug-in charging base gives you 7-hours talk time/5-days standby on a full charge; its 2.4GHz transmitter has a range of almost 1,000 feet. One-year warranty.
