When a subject changes from a state of calm to one of nervousness, it's reflected in tense vocal chords! To train the de-FIB-ulator, ask your subject three easy "yes" or "no" questions. De-FIB-ulator records the answers, establishing a baseline reading. Then, ask serious yes/no questions.
