Wood and plastic cutting boards scratch easily, so they can't be washed as thoroughly as need be to remove bacteria, stains and odors. But this kitchen cutting board is of tempered, Belgian glass, so it can't be cut or scratched; leaves no "safe harbor" for bacteria, stains and odors! Simply wash it (by hand or in the dishwasher) to prevent cross-contamination. Also works as a trivet or microwave-oven tray. Non-slip rubber feet.
